«On Ice» is a short documentary that shows an insight into the world of figure skating, more specifically Ice Dance, through the story of Karla Maria Karl. She went from single skating to ice dance after a knee injury. After her first partner quit, she was alone for two years. Then, she found Kai. However, Karla had to leave juniors to skate with him. The film explains how levels in figure skating work.
